Did I have trouble sleeping last night! Even at about 9pm in the evening the night before the temperature was still about 32 degrees. So trying to get some sleep at all was nearly impossible! I don't know about anyone else, but when I have the fan on me during the night while I sleep, I either wake up during the night very dehydrated, or just wake up in the morning as if I'd been lost in the desert in my dreams.
Was the last day at mums place, so I packed up my laptop before heading out to work. Today was the first day since I've been catching the train near mums place that I managed to spot a guy which I have secretly given the nickname Terminator. During the warmer months, it's hard to explain why I've nicknamed him Terminator. Believe me though, during the colder months it will be very very clear why I've given him this nickname.
Nothing much to report of anything exciting happening today. Got to work, and basically did my job. Until for some reason the computer decided to act all funny and not let me type things in unless I held down the key for about 5 seconds. You know how hard it is to type in a word when every key you type in has to be held for 5 seconds? Not very amusing! Not only that, I always found out that I have to go to work on Saturday! W00t! On the plus side... time in lieu!
During lunch, my friend and I went to Darling Harbour... where I saw... THE RUBBER DUCK! It's huge! Yes I know it was 6 storeys tall. When you see it in the harbour though... looks very out of place, but so awesome! And you know how I've been going on an on about this rubber duck?? Well clever me forgot my phone back at my desk! I know... tell me about it. Clever little chick aren't I? It's a great thing that my awesome friend Sandra had her camera with her or I wouldn't be able to prove it, let alone have photos for my own safe keeping!
We took many shots with the duck that we both completely lost track of time and rushed back to work to make in back in time. I even managed to get the whole keyboard thing sorted! Hooray!
When I got home, I finally sat down to watch the last episode from season 4 of Lost. And now to get started on season 5. Season 4 was one big woah... nothing makes any sense. I'm really hoping that the last two seasons will at least start to put everything together.
