12th of January 2013

Waking up at 6am on a Saturday feels so wrong! Even my body was like, "You cannot be serious?" I think this is one of the many reasons why for the past 6 years I have never wanted to go back to working store front. Once you know what you're weekends are, and that your weekends are actually THE WEEKEND you are so very thankful. I recall when I was working at Woolworths and my weekends were Tuesday and Wednesday, not very good. I kept thinking while everyone was working here I was doing nothing :-p

I was actually running half an hour late to work this morning. The bus that was suppose to arrive at 10 minutes to seven, didn't arrive to 5 minutes after. Which then made me miss the bus. Though when I did arrive at the station I saw a train approach, made a mad dash to the platform, only to realise that it was a test train and it wasn't going to be picking up or dropping anyone off. Which would explain why there was a Millennium train at Mt Druitt station!

That's about as exciting as my day got. Spent the rest of the day testing programs for work, which isn't very exciting. During out down time spent it going through some emails and clearing them. Unfortunately clearing them and filing them away were an issue because the system was slow :(

The awesome thing was that for lunch we were given pizza, and also got to see one of the Healthwise dudes drop by *drool*. During our lunch time while we were all chatting away, and I recalled an episode of Buffy (it was part of what we were talking about), where within the episode everyone was afraid of this monster was about to appear until it arrived and it was very tiny. Someone than squished the monster with their food and Giles looked at the book and realised that the picture said "actual size". What's awesome about recalling a story like that is when someone looks at you and says, "Hey that was the Halloween episode wasn't it?"

Didn't get to see The Hobbit afterwards as we didn't leave until just after six. But on the plus side I'm owed a day in Lieu, plus and extra half an hour lunch or whatever I choose to do :-p

Went back to my mums place and had my dinner outside while I got to watch Howard playing about. I personally think that there is something wrong with him, as he hasn't been doing his canary singing for a while and he is making these weird sucking noise. Must look into a aviary vert!

The photo that I had taken today is of me with my biggest fan :)
