Hooray it's hump day! Every had one of those days where there is so much to do, so many things you need to do that also involves cash, and don't have the time or the money to do any of it? Well that's hows it's been for the past few days, and today didn't look to be any different. Though I was still on a little high from yesterday after bumping into train dude *swoons*. I hadn't mentioned this in my blog the other day as I didn't want to get into too much detail (I'd like to keep a few things personal), but in the almost 2 years we've been catching the same train, and the same carriage with train dude managed to mumble a hi! So that question is Jorge, do you still want me to interview people now? haha Kidding! There's a lot more back story to this.
About half an hour after arriving at work, my friend Jia dashed in and handed me my first review assignment for the year and then zipped away. W00t first review homework for the year. So after writing this blog going to get started on it, as there is a lot to catch up on. Unfortunatly this means putting Lost on hold until then :( But at least it wont be gone for long!
Not long after that, I got a text message to let me know that I'll be attending the concert of The Presidents of the United States of America. If you haven't heard of them... then shame on you! If you have... then you may join my awesome club :-p So after hearing that bit of news I was totally pumped up for the day/
So after some pretty awesome events already, I was pretty much on a high for a majority of the day. If there was a way to take a photo of either my homework or me holding up my phone to show you the text message, I would have... but eh... me holding up a phone and a dvd didn't come across as that awesome to me. Well not that awesome to take a photo of anyways.
Today's workday was filled with a lot more catching up and filing away emails. We're making a very very huge progress considering what we were at the beginning of the week a lot more people can breath a sigh of relief until another stack comes and squishes us. It was also my Team Leader's birthday today, so we had Ice Cream cake. I hadn't had that in forever! So I must make a mental note of it and maybe do that for my birthday. Only problem is that my birthday lands on mothers day this year, so I have to share my birthday. Good thing I was never a twin huh? So a heads up to all my friends out there... I'd like to go for drinks on a Friday after work or even maybe do something on the Saturday. Please note this in your diary :-p
Nothing much else to add really, unless you want to include on the train ride home the guy next to me kept dozing off and came so close many times to rest his head of me... till he burst awake. I was contemplating on taking out my phone to use the app instant buttons and make a bunch of sound effects to really wake him up if it did fall asleep on me, never got the opportunity though.
The photo that I did end up taking of today was just outside my window. The sun was setting, so the clouds had a reddish/pinkish tinge to it, while there was also a crescent moon in the corner. I love looking at the moon. I always love leaving my curtains open when there was a full moon out, just so I could let the light of the moon shine within my bedroom. I do the same thing when there is a lightening storm as well.
