10th of January 2013

This morning was the first time in a little while that my brain kept telling me "Oh come on... just one more minute! You're waking up way too early!" Typical me, listening to my brain then had to make a made dash so I didn't miss the bus in the morning. Good thing that the bus driver was the one who checks everyone's tickets as they board the bus (I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't end up getting a magnifying glass to make sure peoples tickets are real.), as the bus was a few minutes late.

When I got to work I just felt in a really good mood. Maybe it was the train ride to work and chatting with my friend Rocio, where we always have a good laugh. I'm honestly surprised that we both haven't received some weird looks from the rest of the people on the train... yet! With the good mood I ended up having a really productive day. Yes I had a lot of work today, and yes I ended up having lunch at my desk again. I honestly didn't mind though. Things needed to be done, I got them done and I personally think I did pretty darn well! Though it does help working with a team who does make you laugh as well.

Before it was time to go home, we got into a discussion about how some females pick up guys at bars and clubs. Apparently going up to a guy and saying "You'll do," works. If I honestly known it was that easy... it would have saved me years of embarrassments! Honestly though, would anyone really want to go out with someone or just dance with someone after they've said "You'll do" ? Now personally... if a guy came up to me and said it, I'd more than likely slap him. But one of guys at work - Lewis - posed this question, "What if it's the creepy guy from the movie Ted?" That's his way of identifying one of my favourite actors Giovanni Ribis. I can honestly say I was stumped. If someone you've admired for ages (and in Giovanni's case almost 20 years), came up to you and said "You'll do," and dragged you onto the dance floor and starting to dance with you... would you go with them? After the chat with the girls we all agreed that it didn't really matter who it was, we'd probably knock them out. And honestly, if in my case it was Giovanni... I probably would have gone along with him for a bit, but then my mind would have just hounded me constantly saying the words over and over again "You'll do... YOU'LL DO!?!?!" Until I got fed up and left.

After work I headed to the shops for a bit to walk about some more. I'm still considering buying a tablet and just really in the "just looking" phase. I even walked into JB Hi Fi to see what prices that they had as well just so I could get an overall idea. As per usual I decided to check out the PC games section to see if any of my games were on special. The Sims expansion pack "Seasons" which I've been thinking of getting a while has been reduced by about $20.00 and I was on the verge of getting it. But I was good and decided to put it away as I have a trip in mind in the next couple of months and really desperately want to have money for it. I then saw this sign:

My first though was, "Mark is an idiot." If I had a small piece of paper, I would have wrote down that and stuck it next to this sign. It's like telling a gamer, "Oh if you love World of Warcraft, you'll love Wrath of the Lich King!" Or even a movie fan, "If you love Ghostbusters, you'll love Ghostbusters 2!" So... this Mark is an idiot. It did make me laugh, so that's why I took a photo of it :-p

With tomorrow being Friday (hooray!!), it looks to be a very hot day!
