Second day at work today! Still felt a little tired in the morning, but that could just mean that I'm staying up a little late to watch episodes of Lost. But I did end up going to bed earlier than I did the night before. So I am making progress! It could also just mean that today is Thursday with Friday just around the corner, so if I could get through today... I can embrace Friday with a big smile!

Thursday isn't one of the best working days of the week where I work. As Thursday is a very VERY busy day. Everyone is stressed, everyone is busy and it seems that everything that was never remotely urgent any other day of the week seems to be very urgent on a Thursday. So trying to find a reason to embrace today and find anything positive would be a challenge today. I was determined though!

I even skipped my lunch break - which is something that I very rarely do. As I personally believe that no matter how busy the work day is, everyone should always step away from their desk for half an hour or so just to get a breath of fresh air so you can be opened minded and refreshed by the time you get back. But I did managed to take 10 minutes of cool down time, and was able to move forward and get what needed to be done. Which I am very proud to admit.

Two songs by The Presidents of the United States of America helped me through the day as well. Definitely made me do a silly jig in my chair a couple times today.

But the one thing that I really appreciate and wanted to take a photo of today, is the view outside the window. Not many people can have an awesome view from where they work. I even once worked in a room with no windows and had to print out a colour picture of a beach view so I had something nice to look at everyday! So the view that a lot of us have from where I work is a fantastic view!
