When I got to work I found out that I had to attend a meeting that would last for most of the day. I knew about the meeting, but I had assumed that it would be on Thursday (which originally it was). It was quiet a shock that it was on today. Which meant that I couldn't see the duck (again), and had to postpone my lunch date until tomorrow.
The meeting that I had was fantastic! Meeting people from different areas within the whole company and brain storming ideas, while getting on the stop feedback about your opinions. It had been a while since I had done something like this for a while, and it's great to see everyone brainstorming their ideas and providing feedback. It was a little slow at first, but when the ball started to roll and people voiced up their ideas it was great!
When I finally got back to my desk, it was already late in the afternoon. I found out how our costumes will look like for the conference next Saturday, so it looks like all systems are go in preparation for the event. I'm kinda dreading the conference, not really because of the costumes... ok... maybe a little :-p
When it was finally time to go home, this is when I felt the heat for the first time. As soon as I walked out of the office building, a big gust of hot wind was blowing. It honestly felt like a fan forced oven. I had originally planned to see the duck before I caught the train home, but with this heat I'm pretty sure I can wait one more day when the weather is about 24 degrees tomorrow. Much more appropriate rubber ducky viewing weather!
The train home was very slow. I'm not just saying this because it was so hot and ever second felt like a minute (which it kinda did) but the train ride did felt like a learner behind the wheel for the very first time. With very very slow movement and constant bunny hopping. It wasn't until we arrived at Parramatta that the driver apologized for the slowness. Apparently there were a lot of emergency track work going on, so they had to close down one lane.
When I finally arrived home at my mothers place, I decided to fool around quickly with the panoramic shot. It was my first attempt at doing this sort of trick with the panoramic shot, but I'm planning on perfecting it later on. I personally think for a first attempt it isn't half bad.
