9th of March 2013

I slept in till about 11am today, either it was a change in the time zone or I was just tired. Though it would have been 9:30am in  Ayers Rock at the time that I woke up.

I didn't get up to much today as I think I was suffering from post holiday blues. So I spent most of the day laying down and watching TV. Frank told me about the punters club tips that were chosen for the day, so I asked to see what horses were racing just in case a name popped out at me and I would decide to put about $5.00 or $10.00 on it. There was one horse that was called Lannister, and if anyone has seen the TV show or read the book 'Game of Thrones,' you'll understand why I wanted to put a few dollars on it. But when I went to check what the odds are for the horse I found out that it was scratched and couldn't put a bet on it at all. Oh well... maybe next time!

Since seeing the TV show Parade's End on the Wednesday, I was intrigued and decided to spend the day to watch the whole season of it. Not a bad TV show, but it is a typical English show where everyone speaks proper English and you sometimes have to rewind to find out why everyone is laughing to something someone says.

Later in the day mum and Frank went out to the club to have something to eat, but I decided to stay back in my pj's and watch more TV, and I ended up ordering pizza. As a little bonus to me I played my music about for about half an hour as I hadn't heard a Muse song in a while! Well apart from yesterday as we were leaving the hotel to head off to the airport and I started to dance in my seat.

Ended up being a good night, mostly because I didn't do anything apart from watch Parade's End and an episodes of Spartacus season 3. When mum and Frank did come back home, Frank mentioned that tomorrow the Raiders were playing against the Panthers tomorrow at Penrith, and wanted to know if I was interested in going to the game... which of course I answered YES!

Also found out the my cousin Brian and his wife Alexia become parents for the first time with their first born daughter which they've named Emily! Another addition to this big family of ours!
