It's Friday, and it is also the beginning of yet another month! So much to look forward to this month, and some other things I'm not sure I'm ready to face by the time the end of the month comes along. But as people always say, change is inevitable and life will always continue to throw us curve balls whether we like it or not. So no matter what this day and month brings I'm ready to face it head on.
Since this was the last day of work before I have a whole week off, I got a lot of things prepared so that I wouldn't be face with a whole lot of work by the time I get back. I few of my customers knew that I wouldn't be there for a week so I made so I had a few things prepared so I wouldn't have complaints when I got back.
I managed to get a lot of work done as well as reduce the turn around time within my emails by a great deal. But then again, so did the rest of the team yesterday as well and we managed to go from an average of 26 days turn around to a 16 day turnaround. I know that may not seem like a lot to some, but it's a great deal to a lot of us.
For lunch today I went to Oiden with my friend Jia, Gloria and Jacyln. Jacyln had come back from her holiday earlier in the week, so it had been weeks since any of us had seen her. So since I would be away for a week, Jia had decided for us to get together to welcome Jaclyn back and also a farewell...have a nice holiday lunch for me. With the weather being a little crazy and with patches of rain, we managed to make it to the Oiden somewhat dry. Though I cannot say the same for my shoes....which reminds me that I really need to buy some gum boots at some point!
The rest of the working day went by pretty quickly, and dashed off home as I was feeling drained from the working work. Once I got home I managed to convince mum and Frank to have dinner at the golden arches (haha) as I had a craving for some take away food. We ate it there instead of taking it home with us. Managed to win another free attraction pass! Woohoo!
Afterwards we went back home and decided to relax in front of the TV for a while, before heading off to bed.
