Got to sleep in today, and boy did I make the most of it. I vaguely remember waking up at about 7 in the morning and seeing mum sitting outside, while I went into the kitchen to make myself a coffee. Once I managed to complete that task in my sleepy haze, I walked back into my room and finished off the coffee before I went back to sleep again.
Nothing really much to report for today except it was definitely a lazy Sunday for me. I spent most of the day playing Sims 3. It's one of those games where you think to yourself, "I'll only play it until the character I make gets married and has a kid." Then when you do get up to that stage it's three hours later and you wonder where the time went! Though with games like this I tend to come up with silly ideas. Thank goodness I have only silly ideas with Sims 3 maybe twice a year if I'm lucky, otherwise I'd spend my whole time in front of the computer! I actually had an idea where I made a red person and a blue person just so I could see if they would have purple babies. It isn't the case if you wanted to know.
I also starting to get into again Rifftrax movies. Which is made by the same guys who did Mystery Science Theatre 3000 (MST3K). It's awesome stuff. But be warned, if you love a movie and they have a 'riff' on it, probably not a good idea to watch it. Maybe start with their earlier work first. Basically it's three guys making fun of a movie. Back in the old MST3K days, it was 1 guy and 2 robots. But they still have that witty sense of humor.
At about 5pm, Frank suggested that we go out for dinner. So after watching the football game we all got dressed and ready and headed to the St Marys Band club. Not one of the best places to go to, but the food wasn't too bad. Raiders were playing this afternoon, so after we finished eating I went to catch the last 10 minutes of the game. Which they managed to score one last time before time up. Oh well, one long weekend done and dusted. Another two long weekends to go!
