It's Thursday! Man the week is surely dragging along isn't it? And I had Tuesday off as well! But then again I was up late again last night putting up my posts within the review website, which is maybe why I'm feeling a little like I haven't stopped working. So hoping to have an early night today, but that's always difficult for me as I always get distracted by things like the internet!
When I got into work, I had a bit of a chat with Gloria to see how things were going on her side of the room, and also had a bit of a chat with another co worker Jamie to see how things we going for her as well. I then got started on work, but couldn't do my usual routine, as there were some programs that were being tested this morning so we couldn't use them until they had finished testing.
At about 11am, the whole team went out to have coffee while we chatted and caught up a few things. We also were discussing things that set us off and if each of us has any triggers which makes us mad. Now everyone was giving small examples like things going wrong and people complaining, and I was honest enough to say a lot of things set me off. I personally think that if we are all honest with ourselves, a lot of things sets each and everyone off as well. We just all have a different level of trigger. Like the movie that I watched earlier within the week, one of the lines within that documentary made me mad. Now I didn't go into detail as I was only allowed to give one example that was work related.
Afterwards we all went back to work for another hour or so before it was lunch time for Gloria and I. We went into our usual spot as it was a nice and sunny day again today. It was a great opportunity for both of us just to relax and unwind, which is one of the many reasons why like to have our lunch out here. Though if you ever want to have lunch here, word of advice, never leave your sandwich on the table to have a nice hearty chat with a friend, as the Ibis birds tend to jump upon the table and steal your sandwiches :(
There isn't really much more to say about what happened today. I don't need to remind everyone how busy it is on Thursdays, cause if you're a constant follower of these daily blogs of mine you'd already know that.
When I got home though, I gave my auntie a call to see how the relatives are doing and they seem to be doing pretty awesome. Was told that they'll call tomorrow to see if we can organise anything for the weekend. Apparently my cousin wants to join or has signed up for the colour run which I think is happening on Sunday. So we'll see how things go :)
