When I awoken my eyes this morning, I could barely move out of bed. Body was still badly aching, and I felt like I hadn't slept in days! As much as I tried to fight it, it did me no good. When I used all of my strength to finally get out of bed, when every step that I took just hurt with every movement that I made. Mum came and saw me and practically told me that I looked like hell, which is when I made the conscience decision that I wouldn't go into work but stay home and rest instead. I still don't know how I slowly made it back into bed and managed to text work to let them know that I wasn't going to be in today. But I did, and passed out very quickly.
When I reawakened, it was 10:30am and I heard TV playing in the lounge room. I got up slowly and made my way into the lounge to see Frank who had returned from work watching TV. When he saw me in the hallway it gave him the shock of his life as he had no idea that I was home. I waddled over to the bathroom and had a nice long relaxing shower, after which I headed straight back to bed and watch a little of Spartacus: War of the Arena which even though I had for over a year, I still hadn't watched it yet. So I laid down in bed for most of the day watching TV and napping.
By the time mum came home from work, she informed me that my uncle from Malta was visiting for dinner and he was joining us with another uncle of mine. There was still plenty of time before they were both due to arrive, so while mum got things ready I just headed back off to bed.
Just after 6pm both of my two uncles arrived to join us for dinner, and had some pizza with us. When we all sat around the dinner table to start to have dinner, is when Howard decided to be the entertainment and sing for his supper I guess. He didn't sing for too long, but even over the chatter I could still hear him sing.
The topic soon turned to that of about family history, and I got to show my uncle from Malta a copy of the family tree which I had done, but hadn't managed to show anyone from Malta as of yet. It's one of the many MANY things which is on my to-do list.
It wasn't long before both of my uncles had to head off home, as they both couldn't stay for long, so after they left, I headed over into the lounge room to put my feet up and also to watch the new episode of the Walking Dead. Instantly after the episode finished, I headed straight back to bed and had a good nights sleep.
