4th of February 2013

Hooray! Monday is here! Ok, wasn't really excited that Monday decided to visit so quickly. The only real exciting thing about today's Monday means that tomorrow is Tuesday and not only do I have the day off but also my cousin and uncle from Malta are visiting! *does a little dance*

While waiting for the train to arrived there was an announcement to inform everyone that there was emergency trackwork, due to a powerline which fell down, or something along those lines. My friend Rocio and I thought nothing of other as trains from Wynard to Chatsworth were the only trains which were effected. What they failed to tell us until we got to Central station, that instead of the normal route,  trains were bein diverted through Circular Quay!  Which basically means that for me to finally get to Town Hall, made me 20 minutes late and late for work! I can only imagine what everyone else had to go through.

Today was just like any other work day really, got to work... sat down and did my work all day. It was another busy day as it just happened to be one of those days where everyone wanted things done now. I was on top of things so it didn't annoy me or stress me out.

My lunch date cancelled at the last second *grr*, but she had a good excuse :-p It was all good though. I got to play Candy crush on my phone one while browsing Facebook :-p

I also received an email asking if I was interested in doing an interview next week. So it'll be very exciting to know that I may have my first interview next week! If all goes well I may have to have someone next to me to stop drooling. So I'm really excited if everything goes through all right.

I also ended up finding out that I could change the URL address for this blog. If you hadn't noticed, it was still listed within the URL as 'The Talking Said.' I've now managed to fix it -and I don't know why it took me so long - so it now reads as "What Wanda Said." I thought it would be a difficult task considering I assumed the one I chose would be one that I had to stick with. Apparently not so!

After work I had a documentary to see which I'm sharing a review with Craig. It was pretty awesome. story. One part of it made me very cross though, and is still with me even as I write my blog. I swear I must've had a frown on my face on the train ride home. I wont go into any details about it, but it did leave me a little nerved and was glad mum was home and Jia answered my texts so I could vent a little. The story was a little shocking, but there was one particular bit which they talked about is kinda a sore point for me. So when I hear of these kinda things happening I change into defense mode. So I think I may watch a bit more Red Vs Blue or something after this to calm a little down a get my mind off things.

So my photo for today is a picture of mum and I which I took when I got home. It just goes to show that no matter how old you are, some mothers still wait up for you when you get home to make sure you got home safely. One of the many reasons why I love my mother!

Anyways big exciting day for me tomorrow. So exciting that I have to get up early for it. *yawns*
