Oh how I've missed you Saturday! Really love Saturdays. Just like any Saturdays though, it comes and goes far too quickly. I also wanted to wake up late and have a bit of a sleep in, but I ended up waking up at 8:30am. Ok...ok, I know that time is a sleep in for most people, but give me a 11am sleep in any day!
I started off the day with feeding Howard his medicine, and also thought it was about time that I'd give him a little bit of a treat as well. So I cooked up a boiled egg and mashed it all up and gave him a small bit to eat, which he gobbled it all up! Also had a few small chores to do, and before I knew it the time was 10:30am.
I dashed into the shower and got ready as I was heading over to my friends Jorge and Sandra's place, as they were having a BBQ for lunch, but also had to have a bit of training in preparation to manage their website while both are away on holidays. And also because I still haven't unpacked everything, looking for things that you need to take with you is a pain in the butt. The extra annoying thing was that I went to look up what time the train was arriving on the triplite application that I have, it told me that there was railwork throughout the weekend, and that I would have to catch a bus! But when I got to the station, the trains were working! Apparently the only difference was that I couldn't go to Town Hall as the western lines was having work done to it. But good thing is that I had to wait only about 10 minutes for the train.
Just before I got to Jorge's and Sandra's place, Jia met up with me at the station as we were buying a cake for them. Not only did they both become Australians during the week, but it was also in celebration of their 5th wedding anniversary. By the time I got to their place, it was a little after 2pm and Jorge wasn't pleased at all as I was suppose to arrive at least an hour early for training. SO SORRY JORGE! But I was a very good student (I hope), and he even took notes for me :)

Everyone started to arrive just after 3pm and we had a awesome BBQ. I also had a lovely chat with the girls. I don't think for most of my life I ever got on well with a great bunch of girls (Gloria, Rocio and many others included who wasn't at the BBQ), as previous female friends I had in the past only really talked about a new dinner set or bed sheets they bought recently, which seems to have been the highlight for the week. Whereas the female friends I have now we chat about anything and everything.
After the kids left, I had jello shots for the very first time! Don't know why it took me so long to ever try them, as they are pretty awesome. It may become a regular thing for me now :-p The other funny thing is that there were in two colours. One yellow and the other green. Very aussie colours!

We then started a little karaoke using the Xbox band hero, and guitar hero. Now I like to warn everyone if I'm being asked to sing, cause I'm so horrible at it. Even though I love to do it! It's the only way I can yell and people so they wont be offended by it, well... until I harm their hearing that is. :-p
But as always I love a good Muse song, so I never miss an opportunity to belt out one of their songs. In this case it was Uprising! There was one song that I managed to get 99% on a song. SO BEAT THAT :-p I don't know how I managed to trick the game to think I could sing!

By that stage everyone either had a drink too many or was very very tired. So we took out the cake that we got for them. Jia had asked that it had the names Sandy and Max on it to give it a bit of Aussie feel to it. Than after a couple more songs we watched the movie Falling Down with Michael Douglas. I hadn't seen this movie in years and I even recall watching it as a kid. We then headed off to bed, totally exhausted from a full day!
