Got to sleep in a lot today. So I didn't wake up till almost 10am. Mum and Frank were already wide awake and watching some TV. Good Friday is never one of my better days throughout the year. One of the cats that I owned many years ago died due to an accident on this day, so every year when this day rolls on by I am never looking forward to it. I mostly spend the day locked up in my room not coming out for the longest time. Then again, speaking from a catholic point of view this day in general is not a good day either.
I didn't get up to much at all today. I spent most of the day playing the Sims 3 and every now and then watching Rifftrax of the movie Mutant and Nightmare at Noon. Time always seems to get away from me every time I play the Sims. I know I've probably mentioned this within a previous blog before, but if you haven't played the game before all you intend to do is one or two things, and before you know it 4 hours have gone passed. Though I am pretty sure that can speak about just about any game that everyone really loves to play.
I decided to create a guy that had the skin colour red with dark black hair and a black goatee. I named him David Camilleri, which is an inside joke between my cousin and I (the one from Malta who is visiting). I also made him very flirty and sleazy and decided that his occupation is to be a magician. I even played it without any cheats of money and I was doing really well too! That is until the game crashed and I lost everything. That's another thing about the Sims. I tend to forget to save at all! Until it is too late.
So I created him again, and it wasn't until I created him and play the character again for a while that when I went to save I noticed that the original character was still alive just in the character save spot. Doh!
Later on in the evening Frank decided to head over to McDonalds for dinner, and since it was good Friday it was the only time of the year that I had a Fillet o' Fish. Mum noticed that they were also selling fish and chips, so she ate that for dinner. The weather seemed to had change as well, and it was suddenly a lot cooler than it normally was.
We were there for about an hour or so before we headed off back home, where I continued to play the Sims for a while longer before I started to watch the movie Nightmare at Noon with the voice over by Rifftrax. I 'll provide Youtube link of the previews of the movie with the voice over of Rifftrax below, as they guys are really funny with their comments. Especially when they start to reference other things that they have done voice overs for. Occasionally they have special guests who do commenting for them as well. I highly recommend checking them out.
After the movie was over, and I had a big of a laugh I went to bed as I had a big day ahead of me tomorrow.
