Woke up this morning a little groggy, and really felt like that I really should be heading back to sleep. I didn't sleep very well last night, as I was mostly tossing and turning. So I was definitely feeling the effects from lack of sleep this morning.
I wanted to see how my little Doctor who post was doing and noticed that I had managed to get 69 likes on the page and sparked about 8 comments from it as well. I was pretty proud of myself as not everyone can say that they made a comment and got that many likes. Even if you can, I thought to myself "Achievement unlocked", which I thought was funny.
Frank left for the park near Penrith river about 11am this morning with his brother, so that they could save us a spot for the picnic that we would be having later on for lunch. I was browsing through Facebook when I saw that an NRL website made an announcement that a the player called Greg Inglis had left the team Rabbitohs effective immediately and will now be joining the Panthers. I don't usually pay much attention to the NRL news, as I usually just watch the game, but reminded myself that I should let Frank know about this once we head to the Picnic.
Just before 12, mum and I headed on over and I made sure that I took the book that I was reading with me as I was getting closer to the end. I forgotten for a while how much I loved reading book, and this book awoken me a little and reminded me how much I loved reading. I especially really liked this book as even though it was about the zombie apocalypse it mostly focused on how people survived, and how even through a zombie apocalypse, zombies aren't the worse things that you face.
When we got to the picnic, I told Frank and another guy about the news I had heard about the Panthers. They both couldn't believe it and said that I was making it up. So as I went through my phone to find the original post that had mention it, I realised that it was April the 1st which meant that it was April fools day and the both burst out laughing and told me not to shock them like that again. It then became the running joke of the day as everyone turned up.
The rest of the day was pretty quiet, and relaxing to everyone just about lazed about either sleeping, reading or having quiet chats. I realised after a while that I am not really a fan of picnics anymore, as you really don't get up to anything apart from talking and lazing about. Not many sports to play as there were a whole bunch of people about. Plus also you're there for hours doing nothing. Though it may have something to do with the fact that I kept thinking that I had so much stuff that I wanted to catch up on.
